Not that long ago -- before we undertook this massive renovation project -- we owned another, smaller home in the same area. We were lucky to have that home photographed for Elle Decor magazine and it is out in the new June issue.
It's bittersweet -- we loved that house -- but we are trying to remember we are on to bigger and better things with our new project! Check it out below:
I saw the Elle spread this past weekend -- it looked amazing! Congrats on being featured.

Joe,
If you see this, an old friend just checking in to say hello and congratulations on your beautiful house in Elle Decor & wishing you good luck on your new renovation project.
(I practically screamed when I saw your picture in Elle Decor)
Write back...
Sincerely,
Talin - an old friend from Spellman Hall... remember me?

Hi guys! My husband and I just purchased a 1925 Craftsman home and loved this Elle Decor spread as inspiration. I was wondering if you'd be willing to share where you purchased the large photograph behind the bed--it is amazing. The home is gorgeous. Thank you!

Hi guys, My wife and I recently bought a Center Hall Colonial in Sleepy Hollow, and have a lot of What the @#$! were you thinking episodes. It's cramped, drab, the back porch is sh*tty screened in porch.. it needs to be opened up.
I absolutely love the top left pic of what looks exactly like what our back porch can be. Do you have other suggestions for great design resources that stays within the "Colonial" feeling? That's what we're really having a difficult time with: how to decorate and renovate, but stay true to the feel of the neighborhood and house (y'know, don't go all modern when it doesn't fit the character).
Thanks!
