INTERIORITY COMPLEX

IN THE BEGINNING...

This is a short (ten minute -- not so short actually) video documenting the state of our house before any work has been done. It's very thorough -- read, tedious -- at points, but we wanted to cover it all. Forgive the "Blair Witch" quality to the camera work...we hope to get better over time with that, too.

Specifics on the House and Property:

• Size: 4500 Square Feet (including partial conversion of garage to living space)
• Lot Size: 2.1 Acres (surrounded by 115 acres of open field and woods)
• Currently 5 Bedroom, 2.5 Baths -- To be converted to 4 Bedroom, 3.5 Baths
• 2 Fireplaces
• Attached 2 car garage (to be converted partially into living space)
• Detached barn (in need of major repair)

WELCOME

Welcome to the home of Interiority Complex.  We have created this blog to document our journey of the renovation and restoration of our dream house -- a 4500 square foot Center Hall Colonial style farmhouse built in 1827.  Beyond that this is also home to any tips and information we can pass on to you during our journey.

We are new to the whole blogging process so please bear with us.  In the beginning we plan to keep this a relatively basic, straightforward blog -- bare bones, just like our house.  As we get going with the process we hope to find our voice and further develop an ongoing style that suits us.

We hope to inspire, educate, and maybe even entertain you throughout the process.  So welcome!
